Are you looking for an amazing new Veterinarian opportunity in offering excellent mentorship at a hospital with a diverse case load with no on-call or after hour commitments?

All Creature Features Animal Hospital in La Porte, IN is looking for our next Associate Veterinarian for our multi-doctor animal hospital. We are a full-service practice for dogs, cats, exotics, pocket pets, fish/aquatics, and farm animals. We are known for our compassionate care and for always going above and beyond for our patients. As a community-oriented hospital, we are proud to support the Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center.

A new grad or an experienced vet would be a good fit on our team. We are more than willing to mentor and teach a new veterinarian as much medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation skills as they desire. We have a large, long tenured support team which provides us with a 2:1 tech to doctor ratio.

Our full-time veterinarian schedule is four weekdays with rotating Saturdays and there are no after hours or on-call shifts. All after hours calls are referred to our local emergency clinic.

In-House Lab

  • 1 IDEXX ProCyte Dx machines
  • 3 IDEXX Catalyst One chemistry machines
  • 1 IDEXX SediVue Dx machine for urinalysis
  • 1 IDEXX Coag machine to run PT and PTT.

Surgery Suite

  • 4 Engler Positive Pressure Anesthesia machines
  • Movora TPLO and orthopedic equipment
  • DeSoutter drill
  • Storz laparoscopic surgery equipment
  • Covidien ForceTriad electrosurgical unit.

New Pet Rehabilitation Room

  • H2O for Fitness underwater treadmill
  • Companion Animal Medicine therapeutic laser
  • Therapy balls
  • Balance boards
  • Cavaletti rails
  • Ramp and steps exercise platform
  • Therapeutic grade rubber flooring
  • On staff veterinarian with CCRP rehabilitation certification from the University of Tennessee

LaPorte is a thriving community that is getting better every day! We have paths for walking and biking, multiple shops and restaurants, and a wonderful sense of community. Every week you can find something new to do either directly in town or in the surrounding communities. We are near Lake Michigan and only a short train ride to Chicago. The Indiana Dunes of Lake Michigan are a wonderful place to explore as are the many county parks nearby.
