Position Details

• Role: Pet Catre Attendant
• Status: Part-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Typical Schedule: Tuesdays, 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm; Fridays, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm. Rotating weekends.

Are you looking for a role within the veterinary field? All Creature Features is looking for a part-time Pet Care Attendant to care for our animals and support our technician and Dr teams. Our Pet Care Attendants play an integral role in bringing comfort to our patients as well as ensuring proper organization and cleanliness of our hospital.

Pet Care Attendants play an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients. Our team is fun-loving and committed to delivering the highest quality care to our clients and patients. We are looking for someone who loves animals, enjoys being part of a team, and has a customer service background.

Knowledge of routine animal care such as feeding, walking, and bathing as well as the readiness to care for scared or injured animals are some of the skills we are looking for with this opportunity. If you are organized, quick on your feet, and have a love for caring for animals, then a Pet Care Attendant position at All Creature Features may be the position for you!

Other responsibilities of a Pet Care Attendant include:

• Exercising dogs throughout the day
• Cleaning cages/runs and keeping kennel area organized and free of safety hazards
• Cleaning clinic floors
• Administering oral medications prescribed by Veterinarians
• Observing animal behavior/health conditions and reporting changes to the technicians or doctors
• Keeping accurate records and logs

What Our Pet Care Attendants Bring

• Patient and caring personality
• Ability to follow instructions properly
• Comfortable being around animals (cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, etc.)
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 40 lbs)
• Open availability for mornings, afternoons, alternating weekends and holidays
